Angel & Team Hugginz

Our Goals

Wrapping children in warm hugs

Families can nominate their children facing illness and crisis to receive custom created blankets wrapped in Angel’s hugs. We would like to double the number of blankets we create in 2019.

Resources for families

Our goal is to create more resources for families with children facing illness. Including; a family resource sheet, library, and possibly an online support group for our Hugginz families.

Ongoing philanthropy

Angel has raised over $200.000 for other children’s organizations and we hope to continue to help her to do so.

Become a Volunteer and Join Us!

Hugginz may have been Angel’s dream, but she can’t do it all alone. Please consider joining us as a volunteer.

Karrine’s younger sister was one of Angel’s friends, and through meeting angel (and nurse mom) she began helping Angel’s mom by providing support on issues her younger sister faced in the past. She then jumped onboard with Hugginz, met Angel’s older brother and well – fairy tales happen.

This Could Be You!

Treasurer (Volunteer)

Hugginz by Angel has a great bookeeper  who does all the day to day work but we really need a treasurer. It is’t a hard job, you have to build a relationship with our book keeper and gather monthly reports for our board meetings, and chair a committee that plans a budget each year, meets with the accountant each year, and presents the accountants reports at the AGM. We need you!

Or maybe this is you ?

Hugginz recently made a decision to hire a part time contracted Sponsorship and grant coordinator.  This position would require someone with proven experience in developing corporate sponsorships for non profit organizations, amazing cloud and computer skills, and the energy to make things happen.
