The Shea Family recently sent Angel a card and a donation to Hugginz By Angel Foundation. Inside the card they wrote a lovely note and included these two quotes that must be shared as they speak so truly.
The first quote by Helen Keller reminds me of you #TeamHugginz. Although Angel is the person sewing those Hugginz blankets day in and day out, your donations, your deliveries of material, your ongoing support and the work you do to spread awareness is the piece that allows Angel to work on her mission daily.
Hugginz By Angel Foundation exists because you support it continually. Blankets cannot be created nor mailed without your help. You are key players in helping our world overcome suffering.
The second quote by Edmund Burke reminds us of the lessons Angel teaches us daily. We each have the ability to make a difference. We can make a million excuses as to why we can’t help others. Yet here is a young woman who has some major health issues as well as Down syndrome and autism and she refuses to let it be a barrier for one single second.
She doesn’t view her ability to help as being small or insignificant. She just rises to the call and takes action.
Even a tiny act of kindness has the ability to imprint a most meaningful mark upon the heart of the receiver.
